January 29th – the grand ceremony of awarding the «Golden Eagle» 2016

January 29th, 2016 with the support of Mercury jewelry brand ceremony of the National Award in the field of cinematography «Golden Eagle» will be held.

Jewelry Brand Mercury continues company's tradition of actively taking part in major international projects in the field of culture and contemporary art. So in 2015, Mercury brand was the official partner of the international contemporary art fair Cosmoscow, and became an official jeweler of the XIV International contest of young singers «New Wave 2015».

2016 Mercury begins from a partnership with the National Academy of Picture Arts and Science of Russia, which since 2002 holds an annual award ceremony of the National Award in the field of cinematography «Golden Eagle».

Specially for the XIV National Award Ceremony Mercury jewelers have made a major prize award - the Golden Eagle. Treasured figurines will find their owners 29th January 2016 in the 1st pavilion film concern «Mosfilm» at the award ceremony of the National Award in the field of cinematography «Golden Eagle».

In 2015, categories considered: domestic films, the first publicly shown in Russia on 1st November 2014 to 31st October 2015 (as well as all the films of the previous year, which for one reason or another have not been considered at the competition at the end of 2014 Award); television films and serials, the first show which was completed in the period from 1st September 2014 to 31st August 2015; foreign films released in cinemas in Russia on 1st November 2014 to 31st October 2015.

Total for the year The Board of Experts recommended to vote 52 full-length feature films, 29 documentary films, 15 mini-series (10 episodes, inclusive) and 13 series (more than 10 episodes) of the Prime Minister of the season 2014-2015, 29 animated films, 26 foreign films playing in cinemas in Russia.

National Academy of Picture Arts and Science of Russia summed up the results of the first round of voting and nominated «Golden Eagle» award for 2015.
